Singapore, October 23, 2008. Super Galvanising Singapore invited Professor Stephen R Yeomans to conduct a sharing session of the corrosion of steel reinforcement in concrete and strategies that can be adopted to avoid this insidious problem.  During the session, Professor Yeomans discussed about how the corrosion of reinforcement is the most likely cause of the lack of durability of concrete and represents a significant expense in the maintenance and repair of concrete structures. If allowed to progress, reinforcement corrosion may also affect the structural integrity of the concrete itself.
